But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever.” Psa. 52:8 ESV

GOD loves you. God LOVES you. God loves YOU. All the time. All the way. This one message bears repeating. Over and over until it rings true in your heart. God loves you! His love for you is unconditional. It is final. It is complete. His love doesn’t waver as mankind’s would; His love is steadfast. His love is not earned, it has been freely given. His love does not change for you based on your mistakes or your success or your works. You might not have it all figured out, you might be struggling in this area or falling into doubt in another area, yet still, His love for you steadfastly remains the same. He is not double minded, nor does He carry a divided heart for you. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. So, if He remains the same, how can His love be changed? It can’t. Through the good, through the bad, through the ugly...He loves you.

He has never demanded that you walk in perfection in order to earn His love! Gods love was already given and proven for you when His son went to the cross and paid a great price to redeem you. To gain back what was lost,(which was you),Jesus paid the highest price. Think about it. One only pays the highest price for something which has great value. You had such enormous value in the Fathers eyes that He was willing to pay whatever it took to gain you back. This is love! Only love would go the distance from heaven to earth, pay the greatest amount, and die a painful death. Just to have you. And once he has you, this love will go the distance to protect you, provide for you, help you, encourage you, strengthen you; there is no limit to His love!  Romans 8 says, “In view of all this, what can we say? If God is for us, who can be against us? Certainly not God, who did not even keep back his own Son, but offered him up for us all! He gave us His Son-will He not also freely give us everything else too?”

His love will nudge and correct you when you fall into sin. He will guide you back to the truth. His love will discipline you, but this is only to protect you from damage, pain, and hurt. He does this because He is a good Father and a good Father provides correction to his children to keep and protect them from evil. He is not angry or resentful when you mess up! Instead He reaches out with nail scarred hands to pull you back up, He reminds you of who you are, He blesses you with strength to overcome. He loves to pour His love on you! It’s an endless overflowing well. I’d recommend that whatever you’re facing today? His love is what you need the most. Don’t run from Him. Never run from Him! I urge you to remember, His love is the cure and the answer to your problem, turn and RUN towards Him! Run to the Word! Run into His love and find grace and mercy supplied for your need.

His love is for you and for your good, so when you feel that He is withholding something from you, trust His judgement! Trust that as your Heavenly Father, He knows what you are able to handle. He knows what you need before you even ask. Sometimes we ask for what we aren’t prepared for, and so He prepares us and than He gives to us according to our ability to handle it. Would you hand a child a knife if he asks for it? No, you wouldn’t. Love withholds the knife because it realizes that handing it over would result in harm. As the child matures and grows, you equip him with the knowledge he needs to handle the knife and only when you trust that he is able, would you give him a knife. God is a better Father than any earthly father! Who do you think equips dads to be awesome leaders and teachers? Our Heavenly Father knows our needs! No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

He has loved you with an everlasting love. Everlasting. I love that word. I can’t think of one thing in this worldly kingdom that is going to last forever. Truth is, nothing will. Yet, when we switch over to Gods kingdom, it’s wow, here everything is eternal! Here, God says, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Psalms keeps repeating: “For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever and his faithfulness to all generations. His steadfast love endures forever! That is so good! Repeat it, let it resound, an echo in your heart. Let those who fear the LORD say,”His steadfast love endures forever.” Can you not perceive it? Do you not yet see it?

God loves you. God loves people! He wants you reached. He wants your friends reached. He wants your neighbor reached. He longs to see that all are saved. For He so loved the whole world! He died for the whole world! He so loved every one of us that he gave His only begotten son and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. His desire is for every human being to repent and come to the knowledge of truth. Therefore He’s going to do everything possible to reach you, reach me, to reach families, and reach this world. God has, God does, and God will continue to show us that He loves us with an everlasting and steadfast love.

“It is he who remembered us in our low estate, for his steadfast love endures forever; and rescued us from our foes, for his steadfast love endures forever;” Psa. 136:23–24 ESV

Psalm 138:8 The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever!

I pray that you may be strengthened to firmly grasp, with all the saints, what is the width and length and depth and height of Gods love, and to know the love of Messiah which surpasses knowledge, in order that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. (Eph 3:18-19.)
