“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”
John 10:10 AMP
A thief enters into a house not to steal the fork and spoon, but to steal that which is of greater value. A thief doesn’t risk life and reputation on things of no value, what would be the point? So, when the Bible says, the thief (Satan) comes to steal, kill, and destroy, you can be sure he’s after that of great worth.
Remember this, next time you feel the storm crashing all around you. Remember this: You are of high value, you have a higher calling, and there is a plan and purpose for your life. You might say, you don’t feel worthy and you’ve made too many wrong choices to be of value. But the truth is, you don’t determine your value. God does. The price for you was set on the cross and it was incredibly high. The crowning Jewel of Heaven was given to save your life.
There is a problem, though. I believe, for some of us, the devil knows our worth far better than we do. God doesn’t create any one of us without a plan in mind. There is a calling, a purpose, a destiny for your life. “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 AMP
We might not know our value, but the enemy sure does. There are a lot of hurting, discouraged and mislead people in our world who Satan has attacked and is stealing their future and destiny from them.
I believe if we could get a glimpse of that which is ours in Christ, or had the knowledge of how much influence we could be - we would be changed forever. God is calling out to you and me, to His sons and daughters. He’s saying, Come to Me! Come and I will tell you of great and mighty things!
Beloved, there is a calling on your life. You have a purpose, just as Esther had a purpose. You have been called for such a time as this! There is a reason you were placed in this world at this time. You have the skills, the ability, the hope that the world needs at this moment. There is light within you to chase away the darkness. There is salt within you to preserve and keep the atmosphere around you pure and blameless in Christ Jesus. My friend, the enemy knows all of this, but do you?
You see, if you knew a thief was coming to your house today, you’d protect all that is valuable and precious to you. You’d set up guards. You’d install a security system. How much more valuable are you? There is a thief that is coming. How will you be safe from your enemy? The Bible says ,”The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe (Prov. 18:10). Is God your stronghold? Have you guarded your heart and mind from the lies Satan has told you? If he has told you you’re not worthy and you can’t do much, you need to know that Heaven celebrates you and God equips you for his work. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
I want to encourage you today to get with God and ask Him to reveal your true worth to you. Ask Him to show you the places within your heart and mind where the lies of Satan have penetrated and stolen from you. I want you to see from heavens perspective. To see within you the royalty of Esther. You are of royalty, chosen bride, and you are adorned with the robe of heaven. His ring is on your finger.
God has positioned and purposed for you a calling and a destiny. As Esther was asked to step forward and do that which was difficult - so also is the plan for us much greater than we could imagine. There’s great opportunity and responsibility that comes with your royalty. Esther chose to use her position for Gods glory and to bless her people. But first she strengthened herself with prayer and fasting. Then she went to fulfill her calling. In prayer and fasting we are showing God we honor Him and His purpose for our lives. In prayer He reveals His plans to us. In prayer, He strengthens us for the next step. In prayer, the enemy’s strongholds and lies are torn down, and God builds a fortress of faith and truth that shall never be shaken. In prayer, the veil in front of your eyes is torn away and you see the value the bridegroom has for you, His bride.
It is my prayer that you step into the heart of God so you will see your value and believe in His plans for you. I ask Abba Father to give you courage to step out in confidence to fulfill your destiny. To awaken within you dreams and hopes for the future. I pray that you will be a blessing to the people around you. May you impact and influence your world as much as Esther did hers. In Jesus we pray, Amen.
