Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” Psalms 150:6 NKJV
“I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”
(Psa. 18:3 ESVi)
I will be a Paul and Silas singing praise
Until my chains are gone
Choosing to stay in thankfulness
I am trusting in His Word
I will turn my eyes to Jesus
And off my circumstance
I will be a Paul and Silas
Lord, I choose to praise your Name
I will a David facing my Saul
On the run, life is tough
But I have a promise from God
And I believe, I believe Him
So I praise my way through this doubt
Cause He who promises is faithful
I will be a David singing my song
In the middle of the storm
I will be a Daniel, I will be a Ruth
Holding on, standing strong, facing lions
I will be the men standing in the fire
Denying fear, choosing God, being faithful
I will be a Moses, Joshua, and Esther
Hearing the call, leading strong, courageous
Eyes lifted up, I praise, my God is faithful
Praise is my answer through the storms
Though it be hard to lift my voice
I’ll close my eyes and see You,Lord
I’ll sing of Your wonder and Your might
Your beauty and Your goodness
I’ll perfume the air with words of praise
There within my prayer answered.
I won’t withdraw, but I’ll press in to Him
A soldier facing battle, A runner pressing on
An army of praise marching steadfast strong
Surrounding walls of a booming Jericho
Until, not by might or power but by His spirit
The battle is won, the walls fall down
And I, unlikely one, prevail to be the victor.
