Pearls of Great Value

Some days, the noise of the world is so loud I start to lose my faith in goodness. Sometimes  I get lost in the everyday, caught up in the moments. And too often I forget to hold on to the hope I profess. And yes, we might call all this “just our human nature”, but...aren’t we more? According to God, we are children of the King, an heir in Christ, we are the called, a chosen generation. “But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.” 1 Peter‬ ‭2:9-10‬ ‭MSG‬‬

We are sons and daughters of the Most High God. John 15 tells us that we are in this world but we are not of it. We are more than,“ just our human nature!” “Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness. As a result of this, he has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.” 2 Peter‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

We have more than the world can offer. Jesus says that our faith can move mountains. He powerfully works within us and fills us with an abundance for every good work. We’ve been brought at a high price and because of that we can rise above our circumstances. Haven’t we been seated with Jesus in heavenly places? We can come to the throne room with boldness. We can come to Abba God and receive of His goodness. So, come! It is good to get away from the noise and distractions. Come and sit down with the Father. Come and rest in His peace. The wisest choice you can make today is the choice to be with Jesus. Oh, to be in the secret place where He holds you! Where He holds and shapes your story. Where heaven enters into the heart and gives strength. Yes, to be with the Father. That is the wisest choice.

It’s good to just close our eyes and honor God. It’s so good to just be still and let His voice be louder inside our heart. There’s something about resting in His voice. Something special. There’s a calm reassuring, a grace that floods over the soul and you know this is where you belong. You belong, you are home in His presence. It’s an incredibly wonderful gift to be able to sit with the Father as a friend and it’s a honor to glorify Him. It’s a privilege to hear Him speak, to receive His wisdom. It is a joy to walk with Jesus, His hand holding yours. Loving Him, loving Him is the wisest choice you will ever make. 

As the roar of many waters, Father, we give you glory. We lift our voices in praise and we honor You as our Savior and King. Thank You, Abba, for all You are to us. You are so faithful! Flood our being, Holy Spirit! Flood us with Heavens song and we will let the whole world know of Jesus Christ. Show us the beauty of holiness. Give us glimpses of heaven and make us jealous for it, let us be as a magnet pulling of heaven to earth. Let us put on the robe of righteousness and forget about wearing any another robe. In fact, persuade us to discard all wardrobe that has come from the world and help us pursue Your wardrobe. Oh Lord, may we be genuine ambassadors for the Kingdom! 

We believe we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Because You are just that good! You are so good and Your faithfulness remains! From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, we will praise Your name. Let the the saints arise and proclaim Him! From coast to coast, nation to nation, let the sound of praise go forth and break through the barriers! Forever and ever, we sing Your glory, Amen!
